Ducks Team Report (Yahoo! Sports)

With personnel like Bobby Ryan and Saku Koivu that can't crack the top unit of a power play because of people like Teemu Selanne, Ryan Getzlaf and Corey Perry occupying those spots, the Ducks' power play should be one of the NHL's best.

These players have produced great success with the man advantage in the past, producing success rates that were tied for fourth in 2008-09 (23.6 percent) and 2009-10 (21 percent) before improving to third last season (23.5).

But while they scored once in five chances Friday against Columbus, the Ducks also failed to come through on opportunities to bury the Blue Jackets as they allowed them to come back for a 3-2 overtime victory.

The Ducks have been successful on 31 of 174 opportunities for only 17.8 percent and that actually...

Andrew Cogliano has made a point of shooting more in recent games. With the luck he had against Phoenix, he might just start shooting on every touch.
