Hurricanes Team Report (Yahoo! Sports)

While patience seems to be wearing thin around the Hurricanes, the starting goalie had finished each game until Sunday night.

And the reason there was a goalie change came because of an undisclosed injury to Cam Ward, not a coach's decision based on performance.

While that was the case on this night, all of coach Peter Laviolette's decisions tend to be coming under increasing scrutiny. The Hurricanes lost their third home game in a row, and the restlessness around the team seems to be growing.

As for the goalie situation, it was the first in-game goalie change for any reason for the Hurricanes this season. So this could bring another game missed because of injury into the equation for the Hurricanes, who have constantly been dealing with roster-availability...

Ville Peltonen initially was credited with the decisive goal, but a scoring change after the game gave it to Campbell.
