HC100 Pro Hockey Helmet - Black Large
Before the introduction of first generation EPP helmets such as the Bauer 5000, most hockey helmets were pretty much the same - a durable plastic shell with single density foam as a liner that was adjustable for head size. The use of EPP foams in the construction of helmets is directly influenced by the innovation of the bicycle helmet over the last 10 years. The EPP innovation has provided for much higher levels of protection against big impacts. The HC100 combines EPP technology with Pro Gel Foam for a couple of reasons: The Pro Gel foam that is bonded to the EPP is what actually touches your head. This foam allows for a closer fitting design that is not as bulky as most other EPP helmets. In addition, the comfort of the Gel foam is much higher than that of the typical EPP foam helmets. The EPP foam includes integrated venting channels for a cool fit. These vents are located on the front, top and back of the helmet. The back vents are a huge key to the ventilation inside the helmet as they provide a clear path for the hot air inside the helmet to escape as you move forward on the rink. Combo Deluxe Full Face Shield - Sr Small
The Combo Deluxe combines the air flow of a wire cage with the visibility of a shield. Fogging becomes less of a problem as does heat buildup when compared to a standard clear shield. In addition, when the polycarbonate (clear) portion of the shield is worn out, you can change it out and keep the wire, reducing the cost of replacement. One of Itechs most popular shields, the Combo Deluxe offers many advantages over other shields on the market. Polycarbonate construction ensures distortion free vision. An anti fog film is used to keep fogging problems to a minimum. The additional air flow provided by the half cage design also keeps fogging down.
