The rivalry against the Flyers has been even more pronounced than usual this season because of the Winter Classic, but the Rangers continued to dominate the season series with a 5-2 win on Super Bowl Sunday.

It was their fourth win in as many games against their Atlantic Division rival this season.

"Obviously, you have a feeling of confidence knowing that you've had success before against a team, but you start over every time and have to prove that you can do it again," said goalie Henrik Lundqvist. "You can't allow that to change your approach or the respect you have for that team.

"We all know how tough the Flyers are. I have tremendous respect for them, the way they compete and with the amount of skill they have.

Wild ship Wellman to Rangers for Christensen (AP)
The Minnesota Wild have traded forward Casey Wellman to the New York Rangers for center Erik Christensen and a conditional seventh-round draft choice. The 24-year-old Wellman has two goals and five assists in 14 games with the Wild this season. He has spent most of his time this year with the AHL affiliate in Houston, where he had 13 goals and 11 assists in 25 games.
